Gift Tree of the University Communities
Once again this year, the university communities of the Protestant and Catholic Church are organizing a joint Christmas tree campaign. In the Main Library, the School of Business, Economics and Society and many other places, there are Christmas trees with gift ideas for people who don't have much.
04.12.: Science and Technology Branch Library and 18MI close earlier
Science and Technology Branch Library (TNZB) and Departmental library 18 Mathematics, Computer Science and RRZE (18MI) will close at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, due to a faculty event. The lockers in the library will remain accessible until midnight.
Important News from the Open Access Department
Funding for open access will change as of January 1, 2026: The funding cap for Open Access publishing fees of €3,000 gross will be applied to articles originating from DFG projects. Additionally, the subsidy will be lowered to €1,400 for all papers. Be vigilant regarding the quality of journals—the Open Access Department is here to advise you!
